The Oregon Lions of Region 1, Zone 1 of District 36-G welcome you to our website. We are posting information of interest, dates, projects, activities, etc. that we hope you will find useable as well as enjoyable. Lions Clubs involved are Columbia Gorge, EyeOpeners, Hood River, Odell, Upper Valley, Leos and our Lioness clubs from Cascade Locks and Odell.
Independence Day Parade in Hood River
Be part of the Hood River Lions Independence Day Parade in Hood River on July 4, 2016. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. and entries line up via Eliot Drive on the Hood River Heights beginning at 8:30 a.m.
This year's theme: "Serving Your Country in Many Ways." Non-profit service organizations are encouraged to be in the parade. Their $10 fee is waived.

Candy and Ice Cream for the children will be available in Jackson Park where the parade ends. Thanks to all the business sponsors for making this possible.
Hood River Fire Dept. will be serving their delicious BBQ hamburgers, veggie burgers and hot dogs.
The "Big Horn Brass Band" will be playing in Jackson Park after the parade (11:30 a.m. till 1:30 p.m.).
